   OTHER WAYS TO
        CONTRIBUTE

	1.	Financial Contributions:
Whether a one time gift or on-going, funds are needed to keep things going, and especially to keep ADEA’s representative in the field. Fund are needed for our programs. After 3.5 years working in East Africa, the greatest training we can do for self sustainable development is to provide them coaching, training, and creative problem solving challenges.
   2. Funding sources:
If you know of any grants or other funding sources that might support ventures such as ours we would be grateful for the information.
	3.	Advise, Consultation and Services:
Economic development in the international luxury gift market involves of a vast amount of issues from product design, skill training, export/import, marketing, packaging, grant writing, photography & video, publishing and much more. If you have experience in any of these areas (or others) they can make a great to service to ADEA.
	4.	Material contributions:
Occasionally we have need for items that could be donated instead of being purchased. Currently we are looking for a few lap tops. They need not be internet compatible. They will be used as word processors by poor college students who cannot afford to visit internet cafes to type their papers and school computers are severely limited. Even a dinosaur laptop would be welcome. A digital camera/digital video camera would allow us to document crafts and the artisans who make them. Paint brushes, carving tools, tropical fish picture books, African flora and fauna picture books, craft books.

Matching Funds: Many companies match employee giving:  Many companies have programs in place to match employee contributions for not-for-profit organizations -  yours might be one of them. This is a wonderful way to double your donation and further support ADEA.

Heres how to take part in matching giving:

	•	Contact your employees human resources office and ask if your company matches employee donations.
	•	Request a copy of the Matching Gift form. Review the program guidelines to see if ADEAs economic development efforts are eligible to receive matching gifts.
	•	Complete the form and send it to ADEA (if necessary)
	•	Your company will process the form, and may contact ADEA for further verification.  The company will send its matching donations directly to ADEA.
